  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
  5. Serve: Slice the chicken breasts and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley.
